The Gambling Recovery Agency (GRA) is an independent organisation which has been established to help people affected by a gambling problem, so that they can be free once again from the powerful grip this has over their lives.

Whilst some people are able to comfortably enjoy and control their gambling habits, there are an increasing number of people for whom gambling is progressively wrecking their lives, leading to a wide range of associated problems.

Many of our staff have successfully overcome their own problems with gambling and other addictions and are now free from the powerful grip this once had over their lives. Having trained and qualified as Addictions Counsellors, they offer an insightful, empathic and responsive approach to their work, providing inspirational evidence that recovery from addiction is possible.

GRA offers a range of services including an intensive non-residential rehabilitation programme, individual and on-line counselling, an "Intervention" service, debt advice and family therapy.
